An educational institute founded shortly after the American civil war in Atlanta. Founded around 1885, Georgia Tech embodies everything bad about education - and probably always has. Their "faculty" (especially engineering professors) consists of people who lack actual genius and therefore live to crush anybody else's happiness or enjoyment of learning. Seriously. Most of their actual talent does research and works in a skyscraper called "GTRI" or "Georgia Tech Research Institute". It is 5km from campus. Those sorry individuals who were dim witted, mean, or just devoid of positive attributes are forced to teach engineering to undergraduates. And they make them suffer because they themselves can not accept the fact that they will never be an Einstein, Bohr, etc. Georgia Tech is embodied by "three pillars" of hatred, apathy, and a wanton disregard for actual learning. If you love a subject then remember "GT": *Go *To a different school!
If Albert Einstein had studied at Georgia Tech, he would have hated physics.
I started my studies at Georgia Tech a bright and optimistic student, and I left a broken chain-smoker.
Georgia Tech has really sent education in the south east back fifty or sixty years.

Phrase used to refer to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or MIT. It is one of the country's top engineering and research universities, behind Georgia Tech. The prestige and technological emphasis of MIT leads many in its body to refer to it as the "Georgia Tech or the North", a reference to the Georgia Institute of Technology, another world recognized university in the southern United States.

MIT is consistently ranked in U.S. News & World Report's top ten public universities in the United States.

The football team for the Georgia Institute of Technology, also known as the Yellow Jackets. They compete in the ACC at the FBS level. One of the most storied programs in college football history, the Yellow Jackets have won four national championships and have been coached by such greats as John Heisman, Bobby Dodd, William Alexander, and Paul Johnson. They have a fierce rivalry with the University of Georgia known as "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate."
Calvin Johnson consistently reps Georgia Tech football on the next level by making an endless stream of highlight plays.

An ACC college football program in downtown Atlanta. Most of the fans could never get in GTech if they tried, and those who can either dont know anything about football or flunk out in freshmen year.

Almost a century ago when nobody even cared about football other than Michigan and OSU, Tech was headed by coach Heisman. They won 3 of their 4 Natl titles before '53. In recent years the Yellow Jackets have been dominated by their rival UGA, losing 7 straight times '91-97 and '01-07 until the 2008 season in a fluke 3 point victory. Most fans talked crap for a full year afterwards, even though a month later they were blown out 38-3 in the Chik-Fil-A bowl by LSU, which UGA beat by 14 pts @ Baton Rouge.

Techs 2009 dream team under Paul Johnson lost once again at home to UGAs worst team of the decade (not to mention UGAs star offensive player didnt even play). Georgia Tech then went on to lose in the 2009 Orange Bowl (they did have a good record because they play mostly weak ACC teams) to Iowa, and the dream team was dead after nearly all the teams talent went pro in the 2010 NFL draft.
Georgia Tech football had their best team in 50 years for 2009 season, but Georgia still raped them and then all of Tech's talent went pro...end of story

The Study Abroad Program for Georgia Tech Europe, commonly known as GTE, is a unique academic experience characterized by its distinctive features. It takes place in a cozy, one small building environment.

Students are encouraged to explore different European destinations during their free time, creating memorable adventures and broadening their cultural horizons. However, one drawback is the absence of Fourth of July celebrations. Nonetheless, the program compensates by organizing moctail events, allowing students to enjoy festive drinks and create a sense of camaraderie.

Vivians, a fairy-like pub, adds an extraordinary charm to the GTE experience. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, Vivians is the go-to place for socializing and having a great time. It's renowned for being incredibly lit, ensuring that students have an unforgettable nightlife experience.

When studying at GTE, visiting Mykonos, Greece is a must. This stunning island with its pristine beaches and vibrant nightlife offers an incredible escape from the academic rigors. However, it's essential to find accommodation through Airbnb, ensuring a lively experience by staying with at least 20 people.

Paul Voss, one of the program figures, is known for his slightly greasy demeanor but occasionally exhibits kindness. His interactions with students are a mix of positive and questionable experiences, adding an element of intrigue and unpredictability to the program.
