a big circular ring kida flushes sidways, u know what i mean, capable of almost instatanious travel between connecting stargates (usally about 3 seconds), anyway dont get in the way or the unstable vortex (kawoosh) it will sort of kill u, oh yeah matter cannot rematerialise on the other end untill the whole unit has passed through, god speed.

Spin off show of Stargate SG-1. Sci Fi show that is set in the Lost City of Atlantis, located in the Peguses Galaxy. In the series this city was built by a race called The Ancients who moved the city from Earth to peguses for some unknow reason, probably to escape a plague.

More mature and serious in tone than it's predecessors, with higher production values it has been hailed as the saviour of the genre, the last remaining hardcore science fiction series on television and a departure from the shows it preceded, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis respectively.
