The most popular web browser of this decade. It has quickly become the default browser for every person and organization, for a good reason.

Chrome was famous for being a fast and lightweight browser, and tbh it still is. It only uses so much RAM cus people nowadays have like 50 extensions installed and 500 tabs open. Now it'd be a fat lie to say Chrome isn't hogging my RAM but people gotta consider the actual reasons behind it.

Also, Firefox is NOT better if we're strictly talking about RAM usage. In fact it eats up more RAM even in 2022. This is a fact, go look it up.

And as to the recent definitions: not everyone cares that much about privacy ya know. I genuinely don't care what Google does with my data, but if you do, then go use another Chromium-based browser like Brave, which has privacy features. It's practically Chrome but de-Googlefied. Also uses WAY less RAM.

Other than that, the differences are up to each person's tastes and needs. I find Chrome's UI to be far more modern, but to each their own. The amount of Firefox elitism here is hilarious.
Somebody: Ahhh yes, nothing beats that feeling of setting Google Chrome as your default browser 👌
Firefox Zealot: Ewwwww you mean that stinky piece of spyware???
Somebody: Chill out bro, it's just a browser bro.

A browser from Google. Good design, with good ideas, well skinned, efficient and has the best feature: the auto-complete bar... with the simplest tool in the world: a keylogger.

Do no evil, but the necessary evil. By their standards.
Google Chrome: You don't have to press enter, everything that you type in the bar, stays at the Google servers with your IP next to it.

An absolute buggy piece of shit that can't render websites half the time and crashes when you use flash.

Also every web site you go to gets sent to google.
I uninstalled google chrome today. I'm glad I purged my hard drive of that excuse for a web browser.

The next thing to pwn IE's life.

The successor of the stupid Internet Explorer after Mozilla Firefox.

The best browser recommended by most users. (see www.google.com)
Shin: My computer crash out by IE! HELP!

Poppy: Therefore, you use IE to download Google Chrome. After that, delete ALL your browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera and others. IE is as sucks as the abacus.

Shin: Thank you! My computer runs up as very good as Google Chrome.

Google Chrome is a web browser launched on the 2nd of September 2008 by google. It uses the webkit layout engine to display web pages within the browser (developed by Apple for the Safari browser, which was based upon the KHTML layout engine which was designed for the konqueror browser). All of its features are copied from other browsers, and combining the above two statements, one can conclude that the browser has really done nothing new or initiative - despite stating that it was pushing web technologies forward. It currently provides a download link on the google homepage, which, in a fair economy like Europe may be deemed unfair use of monopoly as it is using its very high market share of web searching market to distribute a completely different market, just like Microshit did during the browser wars. Some of Google Chromes features are:

Private session: So you can look at porn and xtube without anyone having to delete your history - available on Firefox (with an add-on) Safari, Internet Explorer 8 and Opera.
Speed Dial: A list of each page you have visited most often/bookmarked etc - copied from Opera, firefox has an add-on for this.
Preview of tab: When you hover over a tab, a screenshoot of it appears, again copied from opera.
Drag a tab out of the tab bar to open it in a window - safari
Rearrange tabs: Again, all the good browsers do this.
Tabs in security zones - like in Internet Explorer 7+
Downloads a blacklist of malicious sites, just like firefox and internet explorer 7+.
As you can see there is no need for this browser.
John: I want to use the features of Opera, IE 8, Safari and Mozilla Firefox in one!
Jade: Well, get Mozilla Firefox, and download a few of the thousands of add-ons which will give you all those features, plus a good browser.
John: I guess I'd just download Google Chrome which may or may not spy on my browsing habits to use in its web-search services.
