Brony 

Fans of the new iteration of the "My Little Pony" franchise; the catch being they are outside than the target demographic (often male 13-30). "Brony" is a gender-neutral term (though for females "bronette" is sometimes used). Formed from the words bro and pony.

Bronies, unlike /b/tards, tend to NOT hate everyone on their sites, and seem to have Unitarian Unviersalist-esque values.

According to KYM, Bronies is at the level of "Internet Subculture" (same level as furries).

Contrary to popular belief, not all bronies have a fetish for horses, or even furry fetishes.

Brony 

A word used to refer to a fan of the show My Little Pony, normally the new revived version of the show known as generation 4 or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It suddenly became popular when released in 2010, especially in America and it is known there are now millions of bronies spread worldwide.

Plural: Bronies

The majority of these people are male and around the age of 20 although this varies widely.
Many non-bronies seem to think all male bronies are gay/bisexual/pansexual ect.
This, however, is a common misconception.
The children's cartoon is well known for appealing to its adult fans, great animation and interesting characters which are not something you would normally see in a kid's show. Despite being known as a programme for young girls, in reality the creator of the new version (Lauren Faust) made it for families.
A brony is often a happy person. They could be anyone, even people you wouldn't expect; for example, the most popular girl/boy, the geeky quiet girl/boy or your best friend.

Girl: Oh, so you like My Little Pony? Me too!
Boy: Really? That's cool. Favourite pony?
Girl: Fluttershy. She's just like me, although a bit girlier.

Boy: Same! She's adorable.
Girl: Yeah, I agree. You sound like an awesome brony.

A Brony is a male person who is a fan of the TV series named My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, typically at the age of 13 or older. If you're female on the other hand, you would be known as a Pegasister. The plural for this term is Bronies, and the plural for the female term is Pegasisters.

A male fan of the show "My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic"

Bronies are well known for their furry-like behavior in that they are fans of the anthropomorphic ponies (which bronies often deny). The ponies are considered as such due to their ability to operate and speak on a human level of intelligence, but also due to the categorization of "feral" or "nonmorphic" anthro status. Among other furry-like tendencies of the bronies include: conventions dedicated to their beloved characters, role-play, clop (yiff), tons of fan art/animations/fanfictions (with a high porn to clean ratio), making fursuits and other merchandise (in some cases) and website after website made and run by members of their community.

Famous stereotypes regard the bronies involve: being fat neckbearded virgins living in their basements, spending most of their time collecting My Little Pony toys and masturbating to pony porn. Though the assumptions of their physical appearance are not really true in many cases, the rumors regarding their social ineptitude and tendencies to meet their lovers online (yet another furry trait), as well as the masturbation, seems to be true.

Person 1: I saw your pony shirt. Are you a brony?
Person 2: Why yes, I am indeed a brony.
Person 1: Is it true that you are a furry?
Person 2: No...
Person 1: Heh, then what's with the furry characters?
Person 2: They aren't furry, they're just ponies!
