The term "Bronies" can also refer to a group of Stand Up Paddleboarders from Fredericksburg, VA.
"Yo man, you wanna go surf first drop on the rapp?"
"Naw dude, can't. The bronies own that wave."

A male fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Also a failed spelling of "Brony".

A Brony refers to ONE Brony.
Bronies refers to TWO or MORE Bronies.
Bronie refers to someone who can't utilize proper spelling.
If anyone starts worshiping or bitching about bronies, and they say "bronie" referring to one brony, don't listen to them. They clearly haven't done enough research and will most likely fuck up whatever they're trying to prove.

Fans of the new G4 My Little Pony show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". Mostly refers to the older male viewers of the show, but female fans use it too. A Brony is generally pretty involved in the community at large.
Brony 1: What's your favorite pony?
Brony 2: Fluttershy, cause she's just so cute!
Brony 3: Hey man, those are fighting words. Rarity is obviously the best pony!
Brony 2: What are you going to do?
Brony 3: I'm gonna love and tolerate the crap out of you.
*hugs*

Typically refers to 13-30 year old male fans of the 2010 reboot of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but may also include females (see fillies).

Brony = Bro + Pony

While generally associated with a negative stereotype by outsiders, due to it's former 80's frilly girly-girl twinkle-toed tea-parties and all-female main casting, bronies are attracted to the new show by it's good animation, acting, writing, and humor.

Having once been on the outside, bronies can love and tolerate others until they themselves become bronies. However, haters gonna hate— most likely due to the fact that they have a masculinity inferiority complex, where they believe that if they watched My Little Pony, others like them will label them as an effeminate freak.
Phase 1) Are you joking? How can adult males watch a show for girls?
Phase 2) Pfft. I'll see what all the fuss is about, maybe make fun of the show.
Phase 3) Meh. It was okay. It wasn't that bad, I'll give it that.
Phase 4) It's actually kind of funny and entertaining.
Phase 5) I take back everything bad I've said! This is AWESOME! ...but I'd be ruined if anyone found out...
Phase 6) Friendship is Magic! Screw it! I'm a brony!
Phase 7) I'm dead serious, you should watch My Little Pony, too.
Hater) You guys are all gay freaks... I'll never watch that. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to jerk off while lifting weights and playing video games all day to pretend to be a man.

When you have a bad day and your friends try to cheer you up by buying you a 3D printer and program it to print my little ponies in rainbow glitter when you start it up.
Once, during covid, James started a weekly happy hour call for a bunch of misfits to get together and keep sane. In the discord channel he said he wanted to feel normal again. Then Michael got sick. James and Sean and Justin and Josh and Pete and Kyle and their family and friends decided to buy him a present to cheer him up. They bronied him good!

Bronies simply means people who are of an older age group and like to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. There is nothing particularly exciting about this, but they make a big deal out of it.

Jump on to a forum most places online, and you will see these people often pushing their fandom. As in, you will be on a forum for cars, and someone will have their display picture as a pony, and all their posts will be about ponies. Then when people accuse them of being off topic, they go into a rant about acceptance, as if watching a cartoon is some sort of big revelation.

Subculture is one thing, but it is a totally other thing to push it into people's faces and then get upset. It would be like heavy metal fan jumping on to a My Little Pony forum and spending their whole time talking about metal, and then getting upset that they aren't well received.

As such, bronies are known to complain about acceptance, and about how hard it is to live in a world like this. News flash fellahs, no one really gives a shit. People don't hate that you like My Little Pony, they hate that you won't fucking shut up about it.
Brony: Hey guys, I know this is a post about motorbikes, but did anyone watch My Little Pony yesterday? Wow!

Regular poster: Umm...that is a bit off topic, don't you think? What is with all these posts about ponies?

Brony: Us bronies just want to be treated like everyone else. Why do you hate us for our subculture?

Fans of an animated cartoon created by feminist Lauren Faust, started in 2010 and premiered on The Hub. The show is primarily targeted towards little girls, but has somehow gained a disgusting cult following of older, single, "virgin4life" males that call themselves "bronies". They are considered to be the scum of the internet, or simply Internet Cancer. They have been known to bring up MLP in topics and conversations in an irrelevant fashion. Bronies recklessly attack anyone that doesn't like their unhealthy obsession, while hypocritically claiming to "love and tolerate the shit out of you". Bronies don't seem to understand that us "haters", DO NOT hate their girly cartoon, but in fact, hate them. We have zero problem with your interest, but we have an issue with you spreading your cancer everywhere and shoving MLP down everyone's throats. No one gives a fuck. If you like to jerk off to horses, that's your own business and you keep that shit to yourselves. Bronies also claim that "haters" aren't comfortable with their sexuality, using that as a petty reason to counter haters. When in fact, all of us normal functioning members of society are comfortable with our sexuality, hence, that's why we aren't watching little girl cartoons, having sex, and working a stable job.

Curing the internet of this cancer, it's going to be like 1942 you ponyfags.
Brony: So, have you been watching MLP?

Me: I saw a few episodes to see what the hype was about.

Brony: So whatcha' think? Isn't it liek the grrrreeeeeaaaaattteeest show eva?

Me: No, it's just a cartoon, and I don't see the big deal about it.

Brony: WHHHHAAAAA?!?!!? OMG YOU DONT UNDERSTAND!!! HATERS GONNA HATE!!!!!! ITS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!! PONIES PONIES PONIES!!!!!!!

Me: Go get a terminal illness fag.

Brony: I'm a 26 year old virgin that still lives with my parents, and I plan on keeping it that way for 50+ years!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!11111!!!!1111tiem2fukponiezagaiyn.
