True love is very rare, unique, special yet everyone should have the blessing of experiencing it. It is not about feeling just an infatuation with another person. Nor is the deep attraction based merely on physical attractiveness of your parter. It is about a connection which happens between two souls and you see things in your partner that is not visible to anyone else in the world. True love is when you find you can put your significant others interests above your own. It is when you will do anything to see them happy, even if it means sacrificing your own needs. Without sacrifice, true love is meaningless. It's just an label with empty meaning. Giving your partner that unconditional love and standing by them no matter what the circumstances... this is called true love. When you can look into your partner's eyes and tell them that everything will be okay regardless of how hard other's may try to separate you from each other. It means holding your partners hand in times of happiness and sadness and even if your relationship may be rocky, it just makes it all the more stronger when you reach the peak. Finding your true love means you can be yourself around them without having to put on any pretenses. And honesty is a sign of true love.
When your partner can tell you something so deep, so intrinsic to their existence, that means your partner trusts you and that is a sign of true love. True love is having devotion, compassion, passion, love, honesty, sacrifice, no expectations, trust, hope, believe, respect and understanding (just to name a few). In essence, true love is a miracle and miracles must be cherished and never let go of. And when you find that true love - tell your partner how you feel. This means trusting a person, and learning to trust a person, so fully that you could tell them anything. Being able to do anything with that person. Learning and growing with and from them. It is being willing to work at a relationship and build it up from the ground. It may often be found in the most thinkably unlikely places. Love is different for everybody and no one definition should be used for everyone to try to define what you think you may have. You must learn for yourself what true love means to you, and be sure to communicate with the person you want to spend your life with. Let them know what you want, but don't try to change them. You might find they change too much. Listen to what they have to say, and try to be what they need. But do not ever let them disrespect you or your body. It is sacred and you must try to save yourself for the one you marry. True love. It is undefineable and ever changing.
Their love changed from one season of their lives to another, and though its appearance shifted, and things changed, they never once gave up. This was their exhibition of true love in their lives.

The feeling of that person being with you all the time. In your thoughts your at all times. Wanting to make them happy and please them all the time. Feeling worm when you are cold just by thinking of them. The feeling of being high without any drugs. The feeling of being complete and calm. When they are in your thoughts and seeing them puts you on a cloud. Having them love you back is a greater feeling. Sharing true love together you can overcome any optical that life has to offer. People love family, friends their possessions but when you are truly in love with someone there is nothing greater.

It is knowing that someone lives with a part of you that you cannot ever reclaim, no matter how close you get to them. There is no way to truly own another person, but you try anyway because you want--you need--to make sure that that most vulnerable, raw part of yourself they have somehow stolen is kept safe. You do everything in your power to get It back from them and in so trying end up somehow giving up even more of yourself.
You learn immediately to adore them for all their wonders almost as much as you realize you must hate yourself for being so unworthy of all that they are, and then you hate them for making you hate yourself, and then you end up walking around in the middle of the night like a crazy person, trying to put some of the emptiness and darkness inside your chest to crowd the other things out.
True love is when you look up stupid dating advice, and ask all your friends for guidance, and end up setting self-help books on fire because you realize that for all the pondering and all the questions, in the end, nobody really knows a single stupid thing about love. Everyone in the history of the world thinks they know something about love, and if every single one of them told you to give it up, you'd have to tell them that you can't.
It is the great, rushing human problem.
