Usually described as a "cult" group. Unusually close clique that are always together. Spend several hours a day in the pool and then get ready to go out at night - together. Other close groups of friends do not compare to the swim team.

Students who participate in the swim team are in a cult.

When you jump in the lake at Doane University while drunk. There are multiple classifications.

Varsity: Go in the lake naked
Varsity Captain: jump naked off the bridge
JV team: go in the lake with clothes
JV Captain: jump off the bridge clothed
