To follow someone on a social network and unfollow them once they follow you back for the purposes of getting more followers on said social network (Instagram, twitter, etc)

I ghost followed 30 people yesterday and now have 30 more followers.

Is a person that doesn't add you on social media or like your post, but some how still knows what you have posted.

Damn... Johnny knows every picture I posted. He doesn't follow me tho???
