'Smart car'ed 

When you are driving around in a crowded parking lot and think you finally see a space, you go for it but just as you're about to pull in, you see a smart car parked all the way at the front of the space.

"Dude what took you so long to park" "The lot was crowded and I got "'smart car'ed" a few times"

SmartCar-ed

When you see an empty parking spot from afar, get really excited, only to realize that that is not an empty spot--that is a smart car only occupying half of the spot.

It is also possible to be MINICOOPERed occasionally.

Damn it, I thought that was a spot but I just got SmartCar-ed.
