What happens to a word when someone decides to make a literary change to it, or to slang it. For example, access. Access used to be a noun, and now it's a verb. In factuality, the word verbify would not exist if itself had not happened to itself. Hence, verbify got verbified, or verbed. The present tense (another example, adjective to verb) of the action is always verbify, but the past tense can be either verbified, or tensed into "verbed." However, "verb itself did not get verbed, so you cannot verb a word, but a word can be verbed.
Verbify Examples:

Before: Do you have access to the top secret work?

After: Did you just access the top secret work?

Before: That's a slang word.

After: That word got slanged.

Before: He was extremely tense.

After: He suddenly tensed.

to derive a verb from an already existing noun
We don't need to verbify a word like bread.

Interweb Verbification

A broader, more inclusive definition of google it. Interweb verbification is the manner of instructing someone to search a specific word or topic on a website by making the name of the site the active verb of the sentence.
You: I can sell some stuff when I move out.
Friend: Craigslist that junk!

You: I'm not sure what fiduciary means.
Friend: Wikipedia it!

You: How many calories do you think there are in a Big Mac?
Friend: Google it.

You: I'm not sure where exactly the restaurant is.
Friend: Mapquest it.

Interweb verbification will replace words like "look", "search" and "find", among others.

trust, but verify

When your spouse/friend/business associate says they did (or didn't) do it. Accept their word with full faith that they are being honest. Then go through their cell messages to confirm they are true angels.

Origin: Russian proverb, "doveryai no proveryai" (trust, but verify)
So he comes home late from work and doesn't feel hungry.
...So what did you say?
What could I do? Said, "Okay Honey" then checked his messages after he went to sleep.

...Do you think?
Naw, I mean, naw. Trust, but verify ensures a happy relationship.

These new water-saving toilets are great, but after taking a massive dump, it's always a good idea to flush but verify.
