The goal of the game is to acquire a device and use it to access cheat codes so that the player can eliminate the game's main antagonist before any of the main characters die. Another optional way to go about this is to turn the game off at the correct time and scratch out all the parts with Sephiroth on the actual disk. Unfortunately this method will make many nerd fan-girls as well as gay fan-boys cry, so it should only be used as a last resort.

Final Fantasy VII, THE best of the Latter Final Fantasies. (The ones on PS)
It has one of the best Battle and Magic Systems of ANY Final Fantasy, and also, it ranks in the Top 3 for Story, And the Animation was extraordinary for its time. and lets not forget that its chock full of Sidequests (the whole Third Disk)
