RILM job 

1. A job for $13/hr. that requires keying new entries into the RILM database and classifying each entry according to general topic, checking each bibliographic detail for accuracy and consistency, ensuring adherence to RILM’s bibliographic and style rules, editing abstracts according to RILM style, verfying new entries against the RILM database and other bibliographic sources, proofreading and other office duties as needed.

2. Mind-numbing work that takes you away from your dissertation.

Arnold: Hey, I hear RILM is hiring. Wanna apply?

Igor: Nah. I'd rather work in Dunkin' Donuts and get some dissertation work done than fry my brain every day for the next five years by giving RILM jobs.
