Hebrew for 'Did you fart' used whenever one hears a noise that could relate to the release of bodily wind. Designed to cause embarrasment.
A chair scrapes across the floor emitting a low gutural sounds, everyone in the rooms turns to the culprit and asks 'hiflatzta'? Also used for the noise (or odour if it's silent) when someone does in fact break wind.
