An overused term that the normies of COD and Battlefields like to throw around to diss Looter Games like The Division or Warframe, even though themselves never understand the concept of Looter Games and/or too lazy to grind their asses out for better equipment.

Chef Wankery

Doing showman skits while cooking, examples ranges from deglaze (setting the alcohol in the pan on fire), to chopping at high speed without looking.

Coined by Chef William Murray of Fallow restaurant (London, UK) in one of Fallow’s YouTube short.

To be clear, the act of setting it on fire is purely chef wankery. You can just reduce it, it does the exact same thing.

Whaler

The type of gamers, who usually spends shit tons of cash in the name of waifus, dream teams, or just simply to rush a 1 hour build that they can't afford all the time of their precious life to wait for it. Often happens in cash grab free-to-play games.

Usually used in the community of some free-to-play mobile games, such as Fate: Grand Order or Kantai Collection. Can also be used in some western games such as CS:GO, Star Wars Battlefront II, etc.

John Doe spent over 3000$ just to fully summon his waifu squad, he's literally a damn Whaler at this point.

When the game threw every enemy entities, and the kitchen sink all at you at the same time. Commonly used in RPGs as well as others like Minecraft and Lethal Company.
