A holiday mood be it before the holiday season starts or after it is so so so over.

Eg 1.
As Christmas approaches, John could not concentrate on his work as holimood sets in.

Eg 2.
Teacher: JOHN, just when are you going to submit your science project?!

John: Oh CUT ME SOME SLACK, I'm still having a holimood.
