Daredevil

Marvel superhero, bringing justice to blah blah blah. Gimmick: he's blind. Power: he's not really. Likes red leather, lurking in shadows and scaring the crap out of criminals.

The only Marvel character to have been consistently entertaining, reaching his peak in the mid eighties. The movie, however, was a triumph of style over content and is memorable only because of Colin Farrell's eyebulging overacting.

"Yeah, so I went to see the Daredevil movie last night..."

(long silence)

"...ugh."

haterz

People who think you are a moron. Using this term will do little to dissuade them.

Alternate spelling of haters, and used almost exclusively by girls in their early teens to defend pop act of the week. Exhibit A:

"a beautiful,talent full woman who stupid ass females tend to hate on coz she got the ability toget a man and they aint

Fu Manchu

1. Chinese crimelord created by Sax Rohmer. Once as popular and widely-used as Dracula, and the template for Ming the Merciless, comics villain the Mandarin and countless others. Now considered highly politically incorrect.

2. Style of facial hair. Long, thin, drooping moustache sometimes accompanied by a wanky little goatee. Looks distinguished on older Oriental gentlemen, elsewhere is a crime against decency.

"That's the thing about the fu manchu. On Fu Manchu is looks cool. On you... less so."

heaving

1. Vomiting, or being within seconds of doing so.

2. Of a place, uncomfortably busy.

"The dancefloor was heaving, but some guy started heaving and a space opened up."
