1. Apples that are crappy (i.e., wormy, mealy or otherwise not good). 2. contraction crab + apples. 3. Apples that are wrapped with commercial caramel sheets and microwaved. (These are good and not like definition #1).

1. I sure hope I didn't buy crapples to make caramel apples at that orchard.
