The act of sending multiple \u0007 characters to an IRC chat room (or any chat room for that matter) with the intent of causing chat members' computers to start randomly beeping.

Oh my gosh, Joe was beepspamming the heck out of #freenode the other day. I finally had to shut down my computer just to get it to shut up.
