A action someone does most of the time on social media when you do something unpleasant to them. Sometimes it's just because they're dropping you and will come back to you in a week or 2. It's nothing to get upset about unless that person was really special to you.

When someone unfriends you online or stops talking to you in real life. The most common reason for this is because they found other people "better" than you. Don't worry, they'll come back to you when they realize those new friends are terrible. Sometimes they drop you because you did something bad. The pity isn't always going to go towards you when you say someone dropped you. It's a part of life, it'll happen to everyone one way or another.
