Baniya is a caste in India. Baniyas are traditionally merchants and businessmen, and dominate the business scene in India. Many of India's richest people are baniyas (Ambani, Adani, Mittals, Birlas, Jindals). Agrawals, Maheshwaris, Oswals, Khandelwals all belong to the baniya community.
He's a baniya! Of course he's successful. Business runs in his veins!

Agarwals (also Agrawal, Aggarwal etc) are a sub-caste in India who are traditionally businessmen. While grocery stores, and sweet shops owned by Agarwals are a common sight, Agarwals are the owners of many big business houses. Some of India's richest people are Agarwals. They are known to be honest and religious people.
Person 1: Lakshmi Mittal was the world's third richest person in 2007. I wonder how he got there!
Person 2: He's an Agarwal. That's how!
