Arrogant students that hail from states other than the one in which they attend college. Typically they feel like it was harder for them to get into their university of choice in comparison to in-state students who are similarly adept to their out-of-state (OOS) counterparts. For this very reason, many OOS students often saunter about with an air of self-importance while in-state students make fun of their inability to conform to the state's customs and standards.
In-state student: Who's that asshole over their with the oversized argyle beanie and oddly colored shoes? And why is he walking around with his nose held high while wearing that totally moronic getup?

Other in-state student: Gotta be an out of state student.

In-state student: Ahhh. That makes sense.
