Another reason is that the youth do not understand why people want to live here or why it is so big. Additionally, about 40 sinkholes are formed in Konya every year. There is even an old sinkhole lake in Konya, but the majority of people do not know why it came into existence. However, it is known that it was caused by the collapse of the ceiling of the underground caves. Young people on platforms such as TikTok have turned this obscurity into a meme.
