The social butterfly gay that newly gay or non-social gay guy befriends. They introduce them to a lot of gay people and social norms. After they befriend them and are introduced to a lot of gay guys, they branch off.
Jason is a gateway gay, Tommy never had this many gay friends or attended social events until they became friends.
