In rowing, someone who just joined crew and is still rowing in their first season. Inexperienced. Can be seen stuggling to carry boats and oars and crashing into the shore.

True friendship is not when you go to school and hang around with someone just because you have no one else to chill with. Its not calling someone up when your bored because they are fun to talk to. Its not when you cant think of a birthday gift and end up buying your friend a wal-mart gift card. Is not when you have to talk to someone about something you don't particularly care about (like how much snow we got last year) to avoid an awkward silence.
Friendship is when you love someone with every ounce of your being and genuinely want them to be happy even if it means sacrificing something your self to make them happy. A true friend is someone you can talk to about your feelings, someone you can tell things you could never tell your family or even your partner. They are someone who you don't have to talk to but someone you want to talk to; someone you will go out of your way to be with. Friendship is when you love someone so much you want to hold them and never let go, someone you want to rest your head on and cry, and you would let them cry on you too. Its someone you can talk to about things you disagree on and end up being closer for that disagreement. Its when you think about someone and how close you are to them and how much you love them and you smile and are happy all over.

Bill and Lisa are real friends. They are physically opposites, have completely different tastes and interests and see each other very infrequently. But they both know the other will be there for them no matter what, and that is friendship.

I went on vacation last year and ate 2 boxes of pop tarts, a family size bag of cheetos, half a box of chips ahoy cookies, and a pound of sour patch kids, and that was just in the car on the way there! It ended up being a real snackation...

A sport. It looks easy from the land but in reality it requires a LOT of technique, rhythm, focus, and down right power. If your hand movements are sloppy or every person in the boat is not together the boat will not move efficiently and you will exhaust your self for no reason. Crew is the kind of sport you really have to be devoted to and practice a LOT.
Bob wakes up early every weekend, and spends 4 hours every day at crew.
When Sally rows she gets the worst blisters, skin is literally ripped from her hands leaving painful, bleeding open wounds.
Kim rowed 25,000 meters yesterday on an erg. Today she can not walk because her legs, back, and arms are so sore.
Phil lost his voice when his cox box broke and he had to scream calls for the teams entire 3 hour on-the-water practice.
Kevin rowed so hard was over exerted and threw up at the end of the race.
That crew team is more like a family, i wish our soccer team cared about each other and loved their sport as much as those good looking crew kids do. I also wish i had sexy muscular legs and crazy good endurance like them.
