The Keystone State. Pennsylvania is a Mid-Atlantic state know for cheesesteaks, Penn State, and potholes. Deer are very common in this state, hence it has the highest ratio of deer to car accidents of any state. The state can be divided into 3 sections: the West, which consists of Pittsburgh and its suburbs, Erie, and rural farms. The East, which consists of Philly, Allentown, and Scranton. This area is a very liberal area. It can be comparable to New Jersey, especially around Philly. And the middle of the state are fields, Conservatives, the Amish, and Penn State fans. Pennsylvania was the 2nd state to join the union. It is the only one of the original 13 Colonies that doesn’t touch the Atlantic Ocean. Pennsylvania’s economy is comparable to the country of Saudi Arabia. In Presidential Elections, Pennsylvania is considered a swing state. It voted for the GOP in 2016 after voting Democratic every election since 1992. Pennsylvania gives 19 electoral votes to the winner.

The Old Line State. Maryland is a Mid-Atlantic state known for crabs, the Ravens, and the Chesapeake Bay. The state can be divided into 3. In the West are Conservatives that can be mistaken for being part of West Virginia. In the East are Conservatives of the Delmarva Peninsula. In the middle are the liberals of Baltimore and the D.C. suburbs. In presidential elections, Maryland is a safe democratic state. It has voted Democratic in every election since 1992. Maryland gives 10 electoral votes to the winner.

The Land of 10,000 Lakes. Minnesota is a Mid-Western state known for snow, lakes, and the Vikings. Minnesota has a population of 5,707,000 as of 2021. Minnesota’s economy is roughly comparable to the country of Hong Kong. With 86,935.83 Square Miles of land, Minnesota is the 12th largest state, ahead of Utah but smaller than Michigan. In presidential elections, Minnesota is a lean democratic state. It holds the active longest streak of voting democratic in presidential elections; it hasn’t been won by the GOP since Richard Nixon in 1972.
