A more alternative lifestyle, usually revolving around darkness, black, and sometimes Vampyres. Originally derived from Germanic people who invaded the Roman Empire in the early centuries of the Christian era. Today, is associated with people who wear black, leather, boots, have piercings/tattoos, and listen to 'Goth', Death Metal, Black Metal, Industrial music, and are into fetish/leather/bondage style clothing. Popular "Goth" bands of this day include Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. 80s "Goth" bands such as The Cure, Siousxie and the Banshees, and The Bauhaus are still considered by many to be relevant to the influence of the "Goth" scene to this day. Let it be said that Marilyn Manson are not Goth.
