Lather

An overly abundant explanation. Harping. A lengthy explanation which has the sole purpose of annoying the recipient. To bore or intentionally verbally harass. When someone talks during a time when they should shut the fuck up.

Floyd said her Mother is in a constant state of “lather.” As Charlie explained why she couldn’t borrow the BMW Chloe muttered “Lather lather....” down the hallway.
