An informal system of beliefs defined by the overlapping set of moral values found in the Qur'an and The Holy Bible. The principal purpose of this camaraderie is to highlight the vast commonalities between Muslims and Christians. The term Islamo-Christian is rhetorically powerful in contrast to the much more popular term Judeo-Christian, which has been used to manipulate millions of Christians into accepting the immortality of highly influential Jews based on the false perception that common values can be derived from shared recognition of the Old Testament. In essence, Islamo-Christian is defined by common moral values with little overlap in holy text, while Judeo-Christian is defined by a common holy text with little overlap in moral values.
I would say that my morality is derived from traditional islamo-christian values.
