A tool or a person committed to weed removal in gardens, farms, landscapes, etc.

I am a weeder. I work at minimum wages. I use my hands, and sometimes I use a weeder device such as a weed twister.

A garden tool for pulling weeds with a long handle and two coiled tines.

She used the weed twister to pull out her runaway crab grass.

weed puller

A hand tool for pulling weeds from the soil, such as in gardens and lawns. Many such tools have long handles and different mechanisms for grasping the roots of weeds and lifting the roots with the entire plant from the soil.

Maria has a sore back, so she borrowed a weed puller tool from Xochitl to twist out the large mallow weeds that Roundup can't kill.

gardener

A person who plants and cultivates ornamental plants such as those in botanical gardens. A highly skilled gardener may be recognized as a Master Gardener.

As a Master Gardener, Xochitl told Pacho to avoid using herbicides on his lawn because the chemicals may cause harm to his pet dog, Pluto. She helped Pacho learn to use the weed twister to twist out weeds, and she told him that he may someday become a Master Weed Twister if he completely stops using herbicides in his garden.
