Mazedonien ist bekannt für seinen Reichtum an Kultur und Geschichte, die Gastfreundlichen Bewohnern und seine Schönheit. Macedonia is known for its rich history and culture, the friendly and welcoming people and its beauty. Many experienced travellers describe it as a hidden gem in Europe.

Macedonian are a peoples and nationality originaly living in Western Balkans. Today, only around 1,5 million of the overall ~5 million Macedonians still live in their origin country Macedonia.
The reason for this is a history of persecution, oppression, exploitation and poverty. Still today Macedonians experience racism, hate, imperialism and oppression.
History revisionism is a common phenomenon and problem within the Balkans. Especially Macedonians, but also Greeks, describe themself as decendants of ancient Macedon and Alexander the Great. In reality, the Macedon civilisation was destroyed and extincted more than 2000 years ago.

Die Republik Mazedonien (nicht zu verwechseln mit der Griechischen Provinz Makedonien und dem antiken Königreich Makedon) ist ein Land im Westbalkan zwischen Griechenland und Serbien. Das Land wird zurzeit im professionellen Kontext aus politischen Gründen auch als "Nordmazedonien" bezeichnet. Es empfiehlt sich aber nicht, diesen Namen im Alltag und erst Recht nicht im Kontakt mit Mazedoniern zu verwenden. Mazedonien ist bekannt für seinen Reichtum an Kultur und Geschichte, die gastfreundlichen Bewohner und seine Schönheit.
