A bunch of robot pricks that are secretly cyborg pricks. They can teleport through time but still only send like 6 goblins and 1 Minotaur to kill you though. They simulate reality in trillions of different protocols, but still can't see the future where the Guardian hands them their asses. Notable vex include: Atheon the "Times Conflux", Panoptes the "Infinite Mind", and Argos the "Planetary Core".

Get the Vex mug.
A once-proud alien race in the Destiny universe that deserved better. After the Great Machine (The Traveller) brought thousands of years of prosperity to them, it abandoned them during the event they call the "Whirlwind". Ever since then, they've been engaged in a civil war that has decimated what's left of their population. Divided into houses such as the House Devils, Kings, Wolves, and Judgement, their species has a class based system that divides their social and military into different ranks. At the top of the ladder is the Kell/Baron, followed by his/her Captains, beneath them is the Vandal, and at the lowest, the dreg. All rely on Ether produced by a Servitor (living purple basketball), and worship them as machine gods. Eliksni that consume Ether grow larger and stronger, so the higher ups can get fairly tall (up to 11 feet and beyond). All have a sore attitude problem, and because of this the dregs often have their lower arms (Eliksni have 4) docked/cut off. Once a noble race, they are now murders, scavengers, and mercenaries trying to survive.
Guardian: Damn dude, the Eliksni deserved better. I hate having to kill them all the time. I hope the next DLC lets us make friends with them.

Get the Eliksni mug.
Any situation where a fabricated incident pertaining to a Hate Crime is created in itself to incite violence for a specific agenda. This itself could be qualified under a hate crime, but typically doesn't carry the same consequences as a hate crime.
Eleanor: Did you hear about Jussie Smollett?
Ahmed: Yeah, that bullshit where he faked a hate crime to make white people seem bad? That should be a Hate Scam.
