A person that rides supersole is one that sits in the backseat of the car even though the shotgun seat is unoccupied. A person(s) most typically ride supersole for safety or sexual reasons.
"Why the hell aren't you sitting up here with me, man?"
"I'm just gonna ride supersole, dude. Karen says she wants... company."

When both the driver's seat and shotgun seat are occupied in an automobile, additional passengers have no choice but to ride sole, another name for sitting in the backseat.
