A Mancunian or 'Manc' (i.e. a native of Manchester, England) of Chinese extraction. Manchester has a fairly large Chinese community. A true chanc would be second or later generation, no trace of a Chinese accent but a very broad and harsh Manchester accent.
The most famous example of a Chanc is Lisa from the current series of Big Brother (UK Summer 2006 series).
