Within the Hour

A phrase often used in the show 24. Whenever something is going to occur "Within the hour" it means it's happening THIS episode and it to be taken seriously. Has roughly the same meaning when used in real life.

Person A: That does it. I'm going to his house and working things out. Violently.
Person B: When?
Person A: ... Within the hour.
Person B: OH FUC-

Boredom

The most powerful of all human emotions, shadowing that even of hate (the 2nd). Pretty much anything that's any good whatsoever came from someone who just had nothing better to do at the time.

Also, boredom is one of the three reasons people do anything. boredom, stupidity, and because one can.

compile

A trance like study technique that can be done without looking at the studying materials. Going over and re-enforcing facts and equations in your head. Bassicly an excuse to study and be lazy in the process.

Guy: Hey dude, lets play videogames?
Me: Naw, I'm set.. I'll just sit here and compile for a bit.
