The protagonist in the Pokémon anime series. Ash travels around various regions trying to capture pokémon. His mother is Delia Ketchum. His favourite colours are blue and red. His first pokémon was pikachu, who originally hated him and electrocuted him on many occasions. He never seems to travel alone, having picked up many companions on his journey, including Brock, Misty, May, Max, Dawn, Iris and Dent. He always makes Team Rocket 'blast off again'. And AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN!
