"Elp", short for "help" is an unwritten right of passage in the age-old brocabulary.
Typically used by sending a one-word text or message, when a person wants their sibling to come to their bedroom, for something that may be important (even life or death) but in reality is usually just to waste 10 seconds of their time.
Best applied when said sibling is in the middle of something for maximum effect.
It's important to note that using "help" or "elp" is synonymous with the tale of the boy who cried wolf... If this technique is used too often it becomes ineffective.
