For months, the newspapers, newscasters and talk show hosts had been pontificating over the eventual meeting between these two heads of state; now, cameras flashing, with broad smiles, the two presidents took turns spuddling about the great and historic significance of this simple walk across the border that has separated the two countries for centuries -- something which any two year old could have accomplished, but for the barbed wire.
