The name Kaleo derived from the Woman who was worshipped by the ancient civilization of Ostara, the men there feared Her. She was no more than the town’s hag but overtime Her status grew when Women started seeking Her for magical elixirs in order to become stronger than their husbands. Fearing this, the men made Her a goddess by worshiping at Her feet, what else could they do? They would’ve turn to sand by a simple whisper from Her mouth. The Women of Ostara became Her allies and guardians. After the Kingdom of Ostara had fallen, Kaleo shared Her throne with the last surviving Women of Ostara, proclaiming their new Kingdom as their “Queendom”.
