Acronym for "Yet Another Super-Hero Movie" describing the many virtually identical super-hero movies where an ignored nobody is inexplicably given super powers and uses them against a random bad guy trying to destroy the city.
Often includes "The MacGuffin" which gives the protagonist, antagonist, or both their powers and is ultimately their downfall.
