Blumper 

A statement that's not exactly true but expresses an emotion.

Example: when you say "I will marry this rug, " You won't actually marry the rug, but the statement shows that you love the rug.

Person A: "I will marry this rug"

Person B: "What?"

Person A:"It was just a Blumper:"
