Short for Dungeons & Dragons. A game associated with nerds & people with no life. Although it is a sad truth that those types of peepz actually play this game, hella cool peepz who have a big imagination and an IQ over 100 also play for fun. D&D can be found spoken of among artist, writers, and gamers as well.

Dungeons & Dragons goes as far back as the 80s where it was based off written literature works such as The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings. D&D is a story-telling game where you create characters and decide their actions in a story run by one of your friends--who know the rules of course. The success of your actions (for example: I wanna fight that orc. I wanna stab his bitch-ass in the nuts!) depend on the roll of unique dice and the story-teller of the game.

These dice are unique because they come as 4-sided, 6-sided, 8-sided, 12-sided, 20-sided, and even 100-sided dice.

D&D was once (actually in some places it still is) shunned by religious high-rollers who said it was Satanic These being the same losers said Harry Potter was the same way because it involved witchcraft & sorcery...OOOOOOOOO scary!!! Fuckin morons! This was in part of hearing some stories by D&D players an storytellers that had monsters, demons, magic, sacrifices, and witchcraft in their adventure. Well, it is a fantasy game, DUMB-ASSES! Yes some people did commit stupid shit that was inspired by a game of D&D but that doesn't brand everyone who likes to play as psychotics.
There are--as far as the date of this entry goes--three editions of the Dungeons & Dragons game.

The necessary products needed to start a D&D game are:

1) The PLAYER's HANDBOOK.
2) The DUNGEON MASTER's GUIDE.
3) The MONSTER MANUAL.
4) D&D Dice (also called GEMSTONES because they look like multi-colored gems).
