A trap party is disguised as a "normal party", and is often advertised in the same fashion; an address sent out in texts, snapchats, Twitter, etc. to obtain the largest possible crowd. A trap party differs from a normal party because it is organized as a business opportunity to sell massive amounts of Coke, Molly, and other illicit substances for maximum profit. A trap party often draws a lower quality of human, and the ratio of hot/normal to sketchy/abnormal (as well as female to male) is often 1:5 and beyond.

Dyreece: "It better not be Cameron's house, that place is always trappin. They tried to charge me admission to the bathroom and 2 seconds later this nigga tryna sell me a stomped down gram and a half for a benji and I says Hell Naw nigga and we bounced out."
Chad: "Yeah I'm not down for a trap party."
