The adjective describing Marie Antoinette's out-of-touch privilege. Someone who is Antoinettesque is out of touch about real-world struggles because of a worldview warped by privileged assumptions, often suggesting remedies to basic emergencies — no bread — with something that would only worsen the problem: eating more-expensive pastry. People who are Antoinettesque often think their proposal shows how brilliant and compassionate they are.
