The action of shooting down an enemy aircraft with an unguided rocket.

History: The term ‘Zook’ is derived from ‘Bazooka’ - an unguided rocket launcher in ‘Battlefield 1942’. In that game, infantry only had one option to kill planes - the unguided rocket launchers, as there were no lock-on missiles in World War II. There are many variations of the Zook, such as Rendezook, Loopzook, Bailzook, Rodeozook, Podzook, Surfzook, and more.
Squadmate: “This Jet is becoming a massive problem! He needs to be downed!”
You: “No problem, I’ll try to Zook him.”
