An individual who makes a personal choice not to socialize with people around them, due to there exaggerated sense of self-importance. Most assholeverts have an egotistical disregard for others, due to their belief that they are far superior to those around them. They can easily be confused as introverts, but in reality just choose not to carry on a conversation.
Gil, being the assholevert that he is, chose to go back to the condo rather than shoot-the-shit with the Tuckians at the grill. "Fuck them...I'll let Jim cook the steaks. Those douchebags are from Kentucky!"
