LOIS stands for Landmine Of IdioSyncrasies. Someone that others perceive to have many different awkward or weird behaviors. So basically everyone.

An subtle way of trying to convince someone that another person's thoughts or behaviors should be viewed in a negative way.

Don't be a LOIS, you are behaving weird.

He is a LOIS, sipping his water so loudly, shaking his leg when he is nervous and always forgetting people's names.
