A Peri is a woman in her 40s right before menopause. Right when they realize that feminism failed them. Right when they realize they should share that lesson with younger women. Derived from Perimenopause is also called the menopausal transition. Women start perimenopause at different ages. You may notice signs of progression toward menopause, such as menstrual irregularity, sometime in your 40s.
