(verb) to pester (commonly a parent or guardian) repeatedly with the intent of getting your way; to convince by way of continuous yet subtle annoyance and molestation

(transitive verb) To persistently ask someone (usually parents) for something until they give in. This is usually attempted with the goal of being able to go out with friends or letting people over.
