A DARF is a Dumb Ass Race Fan. Primarily found in NASCAR, these are typically the older crowd that want everything to “go back to the good old days where you could race on Sunday, sell on Monday.” Most of the time they don’t know anyone other than Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt. They like to claim they’ll never watch NASCAR on TV again and “THE STANDS ARE EMPTY.” If sighted in the wild, treat with care and transport to the nearest rest home.
