A ship from the popular fandom Countryhumans (not to be confused with the ship from Hetalia) between the countries Russia and America. It’s fairly controversial outside of the fanbase, and even in the CH fandom you’ll find discourse surrounding it and its political inaccuracies. People typically ship them because of the “enemies to lovers” trope. Typically America is depicted as the sub in the relationship, though occasionally you can find some fanart/fanfiction of a bottom Russia. The fans were originally fairly toxic over this ship, though the Rusame fanbase, as well as the greater Countryhumans fanbase, have both calmed down since their peaks.
